Students will be exposed to office programming, demising plans, alternate planning concepts, code compliance, accessibility standards, way-finding, and three-dimensional design concept development for a specific tenant within the constraints of an existing multi-tenant building. Three-dimensional concepts for the office environment will be developed with an emphasis on hierarchy, massing, partition height development, and appropriate utilization of the student's architectural material. Students will prepare comprehensive visual presentation materials including rendered perspective drawings and will give formal verbal presentations that will explain planning, design and rationale.
