Students will explore the myriad cultural resources of Chicago in the visual and performing arts, architecture, music, and film. They will write about and discuss their experiences, reflecting on the arts and other cultural experiences as communicators of ideas, human understanding, and values in the context of the political, philosophical, aesthetic, religious, and social thought surrounding them.
