This course will provide insights into the areas of fraud that are of immediate concern in modern society: identity theft, internet phishing, investment fraud, con games and money laundering. Through primary research and selected readings, the students will develop an awareness of the ubiquity of fraud in its many forms, and the ability to identify its presence in a variety of venues.
