This course is designed for students in the Culinary Arts program. This course includes development of basic conversation, reading, listening and writing skills and will enable student to have simple, but useful everyday conversation. Emphasis will be given to oral expression of practical vocabulary and give students the basic elements of the language in order to communicate with staff in a restaurant or foodservice operation.
