This course emphasizes the practical application of written and oral communication for personal and professional development. By reflecting upon writing in various literary forms and contexts, students develop the skills necessary to successfully participate in college and beyond. This course includes individual and collaborative writing of a variety of materials, with particular emphasis on helping students achieve professional style, tone, organization and format. ( Prerequisite: ENG 211 or ENG 214)
