This is a second Honors course in the Linux operating system. The focus is on managing security for the Apache web server platform. Lab exercises include creating user accounts, setting file permissions, configuring the apache web server for a variety of secure services, and configuring Samba file sharing security. Security fundamentals are covered, including encryption and authentication. ( Prerequisite: CIS 263)
