This course utilizes the Macintosh platform and Adobe Illustrator software to transfer manual drawing and painting skills into the creation of vector illustration in digital file formats. Projects reinforce basic design skills while learning software skills. Students create design and illustration for print and screen applications. Students explore a wide range of capabilities in computer graphics and illustration techniques. For this class, students are required to present a portfolio of 3-5 exemplary works. ( Prerequisites: ART 102 or ART 202 / ART 104 or ART 208)
