This course focuses on how to create Java applications and applets using the design principles of Object-oriented Programming. Students learn to practice good programming skills based on proper use of variables and scope, data types, sequence, decision, repetition, graphical user interface components, libraries, arrays, error handling, testing and debugging. Students study the Object-oriented Programming concepts of class, object, and inheritance. ( Prerequisite: CIS 200)
