Students are introduced to the basic concepts and principles of lighting for photography. Fundamentals of recognizing and controlling both natural and studio lighting are explored with an emphasis on quality, quantity, and direction and their effects on the photographic image. Students are required to present a portfolio of 3-5 exemplary works. ( Prerequisites: ART 207)
