This is a foundation class that continues the creation of digital images using Photoshop. Emphasis is placed on digital media input/output devices, color systems, as well as a basic understanding of image manipulation. Students apply principles of image size, resolution and file format specifications to raster images destined for screen and print production. Students will produce a variety of projects that incorporate image compositing, channel and layer operations, and special effects. Students are required to present a portfolio of 3-5 exemplary works. ( Prerequisite: ART 212)
