Students learn and explore basic editing techniques used in the video production industry, including logging footage, pacing, rhythm, use of reaction shots, point-of-view and cutaways, cross-cutting, cotton action, and the creation of multi-shot and multi-camera montage sequences. Students learn basic terminology and work with digital editing software to produce short video programs. ( Prerequisite: ART 338 or Dean approval)
