Students create the individual elements of multimedia projects including computer animations, sound files, vides clips, graphics, and design interfaces. The history of interactive design is studied. Students examine non-digital interactive systems such as games, puzzles, and toys and a basis for understanding psychological and social issues which form the basis of contemporary interactive design. In studio practice, students combine sound, text, and images into interactive animations. ( Prerequisite: ART 203)
