Emphasis is given to the varieties and evolution of parliamentary democracy, governmental, political, and social institutions, and disparate decision-making patterns. The course also examines key concepts and theoretical frameworks to identify and interpret institutional and political outcomes. Prerequisites: International Studies 200 or permission of the instructor.
