This class provides an overview of the role of 2-D motion graphic images in the broadcast industry and the web. Concept, research, design and pre-production routines for motion graphics projects are covered, focusing on animating, typography, graphic objects and still images. Students are introduced to broadcast production needs, industry equipment, and computer graphics and animation software. Students create animation sequences for a variety of video production needs (informational/educational training, news, commercials and titling).
