The course introduces the student to issues and competencies that are central to a commissioned officer's responsibilities. These initial lessons establish a framework for understanding officership, leadership, and Army values. Additionally, the semester addresses "life skills" including fitness andtime management. This course is designed to give the student an accurate insight into the Army profession and the officer's role in the Army. 1:0:1 their influence on administrators choices among possible ends and means; the skills, attributes and personal qualities that enhance effectiveness of responsible individuals as they work with others in organizations; and the determinants of organization and executive action. 3:0:3
