PREREQUISITE: CS 365. This course provides an overview of the role of a network and security administrator. It covers the elements of the network and security for which the administrator is responsible: servers, end-user machines, routers, local interconnection devices, and network security-related tasks and issues. It covers the configuration and trouble shooting of local area networks and wide area networks, and network protection from external and internal security threats.
