Feminist philosophy is a body of scholarship that questions the extent to which traditional philosophy has pursued or can pursue knowledge in an objective way. This course is an introduction to issues in feminist philosophy, including its critique of traditionalWestern philosophy and its contributions to major areas of philosophy such as metaphysics, ethics, epistemology, social and political philosophy, and the philosophy of language.
