Leadership and Team Building focuses on people as the main issue of an organization's ability to succeed. The Leadership/ Team Building course paradigm will embrace the principles of fairness, kindness, and trustworthiness, which makes for better use of people in an organization. The course is designed to introduce basic principles and concepts of leadership and management that are applicable to the chiropractic office. Topics include a history of the study of management, underlying ideas of "school of management thought", functional and behavioral aspects of leadership, management, and organizational theory. Management and leadership will be confronted and each discipline will be shown effective in its own environment.
