Prerequisite: "C" or better grade in any core lab science sequence . An introduction to Solar System Astronomy. Topics include planetary motion and its role in the scientific revolution, theories for the origin of the solar system, the history and evolution of the Earth, comparative planetology and the origin of life. This course will emphasize physical prin-ciples and conceptual understanding.
