Evolutionary trends and relationships of major groups of non-vascular and vascular plants as seen in vegetative and reproductive morphol-ogy, life cycles and paleobotany. Students will observe and dissect selected groups of non vascular and vascular plants, with emphasis on evolutionary trends and relationships.
