This course integrates principles of case management into the role of the nurse or social worker on the health care team managing the complex needs and resources for the person at the end of life care. Effective communication, resource management and time management skills will be discussed. Opportunities to discuss selected cases with faculty will be integrated. This course is open to registered nurses and social workers that are interested or involved in case management. Note: This course is cross listed with the School of Nursing therefore nursing students wishing to pursue this course need to register under NUR 411.
