Familiarizes students with the process of: (1) forming research questions guided by theory; (2) quantitatively assess the validity of the research question; (3) interpret the results; and (4) present the research question and results in a research paper. Objective is to make students aware of how to do quantitative research and present it in a scholarly manner. Directed toward students in graduate school who desire to work in a research setting or with data. Can serve as a vehicle for the thesis. Prerequisite(s): Graduate standing or consent of instructor.
