Exploration of contemporary theories and principles basic to the construction and clinical use of psychological tests. Students will learn how to (a) critically evaluate psychological tests (e.g., self-report and interview methods) and (b) develop and validate self-report instruments, using contemporary psychometric principles and procedures.
