A one-semester course designed for students in the health care pro- fessions. The course includes the concepts of atomic and molecular structure, phases of matter, stoichiometry, equilibrium, acids and bases, nuclear chemistry, descriptive organic chemistry, carbohydrates, lipids, proteins and nucleic acids. The concepts of the course are demonstrat- ed and explored in laboratory experiments. 2 hours lecture, 2 hours laboratory a week, 1 semester, 3 credits. Fall Lab fee-$30
