A survey of the outstanding composers since the turn of the century, including Debussy, Ravel, Stravinsky, Schoenberg, Berg, Webern, Milhaud, Honegger, Poulenc, Bartok, Hindemith, Prokofiev, Shostakovitch, Vaughan-Williams, Britten, Charles Ives, Copland and other American composers.
