Prerequisite: 3103 or concurrent enrollment. Provides students with an introduction to the methods and procedures used in physiological research. Topics covered include data acquisition, analysis and basic statistics, effects of temperature on living systems, nervous system functions, muscle mechanics and physiology, and studies of metabolic rates.
