Topics will vary. Possible areas of study include the Character Piece of the 19th Century, Influence of Liszt on 20th-Century Piano Music, Piano Works of Debussy and Ravel, American Experimentalism in 20th-Century Piano Music, and European Avante Garde Piano Music.
