2 to 3 hours. The first two-thirds of the course covers the terms and legal issues involved in drafting, executing, and enforcing residential real estate contracts, including obtaining and evaluating title evidence prior to closing and recovery for breach of title guarantees. The last third of the course will introduce certain basic commercial real estate transactions, including processes and issues involved in housing subdivisions, condominiums, shopping centers, and commercial leases.
