Class includes participation in elementary flamenco exercises. Students will be instructed in several aspects of the art of Flamenco, including footwork, arm movements, hand clapping, choreography. Emphasis of class will be on practice, principles and vocabulary of flamenco dance. Students will be expected to perform with proper body alignment, an element of performance style and correct technical vocabulary and rhythms. (Irreg.)
