The course analyzes the extent, character, and consequences of globalization with emphasis on how any economy operates in the aggregate to affect real output, unemployment, the price level, interest rates, business cycles, economic growth, foreign exchange rates, trade patterns, international financial flows and foreign investment through its fiscal, monetary, and exchange stabilization and trade policies.
