Prerequisite: Graduate standing. Examines the role of grant writing, fundraising and resource development in nonprofit organizations. Various grant writing and fundraising techniques and development efforts will be examined. This class will give students a general, but effective working knowledge of grant writing and fundraising. The readings will be supplemented by visiting speakers representing various arts organizations or granting agencies presenting lecturers, leading discussions and/or conducting workshops regarding fundraising and grant writing. No student may earn credit for both 4113 and 5113. (Irreg.)
