Prerequisite: junior standing or permission of instructor. A topical review of current issues and events in the arts with a particular focus on those events affecting the arts manager. The readings and discussions will vary each semester and may focus on newly released research reports, changing demographic trends or events chronicled in the press that affect the arts either on a micro (local) or macro (national or international) level. No student may earn credit for both 4163 and 5163. (Irreg.)
