Prerequisite: 3253, 3263. May be repeated, maximum credit 12 hours. Emphasis on articulating and developing individual projects in ceramics. Students are expected to research materials and techniques pertinent to development and exploration of personal direction of form and ideas. Each student is expected to create a body of work building on prior exploration of color and form in clay and glazes, traditional and/or non-traditional techniques. Emphasis is on students' individual area of interest. (F, Sp)
