Prerequisite: 15 hours of foundation courses or permission of instructor on a space available basis. Introduction to various hand-building, glazing and firing techniques. Emphasis placed on developing an understanding of working in three dimensions (with clay as the medium), and on interpreting shape by combining surface color and three-dimensional form.
