Prerequisite: graduate standing. Focus on the concepts of mobility and sedentism in the archaeological record. The concepts are defined and discussed in their many forms, and the relationships between the mobility/sedentism continuum and other factors such as the use of agriculture, population size, the natural environment, social organization, skeletal impacts, ritual, and kinds of artifacts are considered.
