Students work on multi-disciplinary teams and apply their engineering problem-solving skills on open-ended, real-world projects Projects may be service-oriented in concept and teams may include membes from other Departments and Colleges. Emphasis on communication, team-work, report-writing, oral presentations, This course may be used as a Technical elective for all Engineering Departments. Alternatively, this course may be used as a substitute for the culminating Capstone course in Electrical and Computer Engineering (16.499), Mechanical Engineering (22.423) and Plastics Engineering (26.416). Prerequisite: senior status & permission of instructor. Level Senior Standing
