3 This course provides an introduction to fundamental concepts in the design and implementation of computer communication networks, their protocols, and applications. Topics include: TCP/IP and OSI layered network architectures and associated protocols, application layer, network programming API (sockets), transport, congestion, flow control, routing, addressing, autonomous systems, multicast and link layer.
