The course acquaints students with research findings and clinical data regarding the effects of addiction on various family systems. The conditions of coaddiction, codependency and family dysfunction are studied within the contexts of family systems and society as a whole. The development of the functional self as the foundations for healthy interpersonal relationships is explored. Prerequisite: HUS125 and PSY100. CR. 3
