NUR205 builds on content in prior courses to focus on the nursing care of clients experiencing pathophysiological problems. Concepts of basic human needs and nursing process provide the foundation for nursing practice. Emphasis is placed on the independent and collaborative roles of the nurse. Clinical experiences providing care for multiple clients promote the development of critical thinking and organizational skills. NUR204 is taken concurrently with NUR205. 15 hours of clinical will be completed per week for one half of the semester. Prerequisites: NUR201W, BIO321, SOC101, PSY308. Lec 2.5, Lab 15. CR. 5
