This practicum is the first in a series of three optional clinical courses. It can be taken concurrently with NUR102 or in the summer following NUR102. It provides an opportunity to practice the role of the professional nurse under the supervision of a registered nurse. The student will focus on the knowledge and skills previously learned in the nursing curriculum. The student and faculty work together to develop individual learning objectives. Prerequisites: NUR101, enrollment in NUR102, and permission of instructor. CR. 1-3
