A theoretical and applied course that integrates and builds on preliminary courses addressing the nature and needs of young children. Theories and models of curriculum for the very young will be explored. Methods for planning and developing curriculum goals and objectives will be practiced. Relevant content and developmentally appropriate processes for meeting the needs of young children will be presented. Specific curriculum areas will be covered in depth. Prerequisite: HUS160 or permission. CR. 3
