An advanced course in professional document design that applies problem-solving strategies to resolve communication issues. Practice in editing and collaborative writing are included. Students are expected to use communications software to produce and revise their documents. They may be required to research subjects via the Internet and use E-mail to communicate with each other and the professor. One-third of the semester is devoted to an individual project.
