(This course is cross listed with MAT315.) Students will have opportunities to formulate hypotheses, collect data via a questionnaire to test those hypotheses, code and transcribe data into the SPSS program, use SPSS for statistical analysis, and present the results in a research paper format. The student will be exposed to more advanced statistical methods of analysis (e.g., ANOVA, regression). Prerequisites: MAT115 and a working understanding of Windows; CIS100 or CIS101 recommended.
