This course provides a detailed introduction to the major interdisciplinary principles and procedures that comprise the basis of modern human death investigation. Emphasis is placed upon forensic pathology and the pathophysiology of natural and unnatural death. Essential complementary techniques from police science, physical anthropology, radiology, and odontology are integrated where appropriate. Prerequisite: BIO210 or significant police investigative experience as approved by the instructor. CR. 3
