Examination of one or more foreign cultures, their individual and group values, and their ways of life as reflected in literature (i.e., short stories, essays, novels) and film. May be repeated for credit under different topics. Includes work on speaking and writing skills. May not be presented as part of the foreign language requirement for the BA degree. Fall, spring.
