An elective for majors and minors. A structured, supervised work experience. The student completes a minimum of 150 hours within the assigned agency during the term enrolled, maintains a log of activities, and provides the internship coordinator with a final paper. Prerequisites: 21 hours of sociology including SOC 2321, 3320, 4330; junior or senior standing; 2.5 GPA or higher; and consent of instructor. Fall, spring, summer.
