This course is required for majors in the Web Development/E-Commerce track and an elective option for majors in the other tracks. The course is intended for students interested in learning about web page design concepts, web server support, and FTP techniques. The instructor assumes knowledge of Windows and the Internet and introduces students to the development of web pages using HTML and other web design enhancing tools (such as JavaScript, DHTML, CSS, XML, etc.) through lecture, demonstration, and practice in a networked computer lab. Prerequisites: MIS 1370 or CSCI 1470, knowledge of Windows and the Internet. Fall, spring.
