This course is required for all business majors as a part of the business foundation. The course is designed to build competency in desktop tools for use in making business decisions. The primary focus is learning significant spreadsheet competence augmented with an introduction to desktop database software. Classes are conducted in a networked computer laboratory using current desktop decision-support software such as Microsoft Excel and Access. Prerequisite: Knowledge of keyboarding and basic spreadsheet skills. Prerequisite or co-requisite: QMTH 2330 or other introductory statistics course. Fall, spring, summer.
