This course is required for majors and minors in mathematics education who plan to seek teacher licensure. Topics include innovative curricula for secondary mathematics topics, NCTM standards, planning and organization in the classroom, strategies, methods, materials, technology, and other topics related to teaching and learning mathematics. Class discussions, presentations, and papers such as summaries and critiques are central to the course. Prerequisite: MATH 2371, 3370. Fall.
