Description:
This course is required for the middle level mathematics/science education majors. The primary goal is to provide preservice teachers with the opportunity to learn mathematics and science as integrated content and pedagogy. Designed for the middle level, the course is offered simultaneously with the middle level Teaching Internship I. The primary method of delivery is through activities, problem solving, projects, and presentations. Prerequisite: MATH 3351 and SCI 3420 and admission to Middle Level Teacher Education. Required Corequisite: MSIT 4411. Fall.
